Our western Night at the Movies group met last night and it was Johnny Boggs’ turn to curate. He chose ULZANA’S RAID (1972), an underrated but uncompromising film about a renegade Apache who, along with a handful of followers, escape from the San Carlos reservation in Arizona Territory and are then pursued by the U.S. Cavalry.
We met last night for our Western Night at the Movies get-together and Robert Nott chose two truly “Wild West” features.
It was David Morrell’s turn to choose the films for our Western Night at the Movies gathering last night. As 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the release of THE WILD BUNCH, Sam Peckinpah’s cinematic ode to the end of the West, David’s first film was the excellent 1996 documentary, THE WILD BUNCH: AN ALBUM IN MONTAGE.
Our Western Night at the Movies group met this past Thursday and selected the 1975 made-for-television film, I WILL FIGHT NOT MORE FOREVER.
