I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be discussing my latest book, “Line of Glory, a Novel of the Alamo,” as historical fiction on Friday, September 28, from noon to 1pm at the New Mexico State Library.
“Line of Glory” tells the story of the last thirteen hours at the Alamo through the eyes of men and women on both sides, Texan and Mexican, who fought in that storied battle. What might they have been thinking, doing, remembering, hoping?
My talk will include the role of fact and conjecture in the writing process.
“Clagett has done a masterful job…” –Booklist
“Recommended.” –Historical Novel Society
“How history may well have been.”–Paul Andrew Hutton, author of The Apache Wars
